The Season 6 finale of the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones" featured a look at Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and her army's sea voyage heading to Westeros. A big battle is expected to happen given the Queen of Dragons' quest to gain control of the Iron Throne. Daenerys' allies will play a huge part in the upcoming fight, although an alliance with the new King of the North will increase her chances to defeat Cersei (Lena Headey).

However, latest spoiler news indicates of a potential partnership between Daenerys and Jon (Kit Harington). A source told Watchers on the Wall that a scene in Season 6 will feature a meeting between Daenerys, Davos (Liam Cunningham) and Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie). The two characters have been associated with Jon and Sansa (Sophie Turner).

The Queen of Dragons' fateful meeting with Davos and Brienne will happen at the Dragonpit, a ruined building located at Kings Landing that previously housed dragons. Apart from the two characters, Daenerys will also hold a discussion with several other allies in the said location.

At this time, it is still unclear if Davos and Brienne's presence at the Dragonpit represents a potential alliance between Jon and Daenerys. Details of the said meeting were not disclosed.

In other news, "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will feature a reunion between Jon and Theo (Alfie Allen), according to the Spanish publication Los Sietes Reinos. It appears that the Lord Commander will meet Theon during an upcoming journey.

A lot has happened to Jon and Theo since the two characters' were last seen together in earlier seasons of the HBO series. Viewers witnessed how Theon took over Winterfell, helped Sansa escape and formed an alliance with Daenerys. As for Jon, he returned from the dead and defeated Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) before being crowned as the new King of the North.

Meanwhile, the impending reunion may not be a happy one given Jon and Theo's previous rivalry. However, story speculations hinted at an uneasy truce between the two characters.

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is expected to air in summer 2017 on HBO. Watch the final scenes of the Season 6 finale below:
