The CW show "Supergirl" teased the arrival of Cyborg Superman over several weeks and recently he was revealed to be Hank Henshaw played by David Harewood, who was presumed dead.

Over the past few weeks, there have been numerous hints that Cyborg Superman would be making an appearance in the series "Supergirl". There was also a lot of speculation about who end up being the cybernetically enhanced man of steel, and several were sure that he would be Jeremiah Danvers (Dean Cain) who is currently thought to be held by Cadmus.

In the episode titled "The Darkest Place" which aired on November 21, Cyborg Superman was revealed to be Hank Henshaw and he even got access to the Fortress of Solitude which Mashable termed as an "ominous" development.

Now the big question is whether Supergirl's famous cousin Clark Kent/Superman is going to make an appearance again in the series. Superman's reappearance could hinge on whether Cyborg Superman proves to be a tough adversary throughout the rest of the season and Cinema Blend stated that this could be the case, as his "hate for aliens such as Supergirl appears intensified".

The arrival of Cyborg Superman, Cinema Blend stated put to rest the debate around the fate of Henshaw who was last seen fighting with Jeremiah over J'onn J'onzz / Martian Manhunter and disappearing off the edge of a cliff. This particular incident in the last season, led to J'onn J'onzz taking on the appearance of Henshaw and heading to the DEO where he now is an important part of the team.

At the beginning of its second season the series "Supergirl" was given a boost with Clark Kent/Superman played by Tyler Hoechlin arriving to work alongside his cousin Kara Danvers / Supergirl (Melissa Benoist). However, Superman stuck around for only two episodes before flying back to Metropolis. After Superman's departure many fans who lauded Hoechlin's performance were under the impression that he would also play Cyborg Superman.  This was shot down recently when executive producer Andrew Kreisberg stated that it was not the case.

Since Superman's departure, a number of other stars have been added to the series, including former Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter who plays Olivia Marsdin, the President of the United States. It is, however, clear that Cyborg Superman is going to be an interesting nemesis for Supergirl to take on even though several questions remain about the fate of Jeremiah.
