It seems like SBS' "The Legend of the Blue Sea" stars Lee Min-Ho and Jun Ji-Hyun are getting along really well. Recently, the Hallyu stars talked about their undeniable on-screen chemistry and revealed the secret behind the show's popularity.

On Dec. 6, Tuesday, Lee and Jun sat down for an interview with singer-songwriter Moon Hee-Jun on the premiere of SBS' "Genuine Entertainment Night," Soompi reported. There, the stars discussed the on-going fantasy drama.

Lee delightedly shared what he thought made the SBS drama so popular at home and abroad. The actor thinks part of that success if ascribed to the lightheartedness and natural chemistry he and Jun shared on screen.

The "My Sassy Girl" actress also shared an interesting episode that happened during filming. She revealed, "When we were filming the bike scene, we didn't match each other's rhythm properly, so we fell down."

It was then revealed that the breathtaking underwater scenes were entirely created using computer-generated imagery (CGI). Jun explained there were a lot of parts focused on recounting the mermaid's story and revealed that she had prepared a lot for acting underwater.

At the point when asked how she keeps her figure after giving birth in February, the actress stated she is always conscious of what she eat. Lee then testified to his co-star's dedication, revealing that Jun makes sure to exercise every morning even on their day off.

Premiered on Nov. 16, "The Legend of the Blue Sea" managed to secure the second spot in the Contents Power Index (CPI) with a recorded 4,315 points for the first week of December, as per CJ E&M, as cited by The Kpop Herald. It is expected to gain higher ratings after the seventh episode.

The next episode, which is slated to air on Dec. 7 at 10:00 PM (KST), will feature Jo Jung-Suk's special cameo appearance. It was reported that the 35-year-old actor will transform into a reporter looking for the last mermaid on Earth.
