'The Voice' ended its Season 11 run with a two-hour finale that featured various performances from the judges, finalists and special guests. At the end of the event, Team Blake's Sundance Head was inducted into the NBC show's list of champions.

After a grueling "The Voice" Season 11 battle, Head rose took home the winning prize with his sultry voice and vocal prowess. Besting fan favorite Billy Gilman, Head received the most number of votes and iTunes downloads from the NBC show's viewers.

Team Adam's Gilman came in at second place followed by Team Alicia's We McDonald. Josh Gallagher, another member of the Maroon 5 crooner's team, landed at fourth place.

Meanwhile, Head wowed viewers and fans with his various performances during the NBC show's Season 11 run. The former "American Idol" contender's final performance on Dec. 12, Monday, also helped the talented singer gain more votes.

Singing an original song titled "Darlin' Don't Go," Head's performance showcased his vocal range as he transitioned from high notes to controlled tones without a hitch. "The Voice" Season 11 winner's performance even received a grade A score from a review posted on TVLine.

The review read, "Sundance's voice showcased palpable desperation as well as the Gospel fervor of a preacher testifying the way, the truth and the light (if that makes any sense). Better still, the bearded Texan pivoted from monster belted notes to spoken-word interludes and back again without the slightest difficulty."

In other news, "The Voice" Season 11 marked another successful season for coach Blake Shelton. With the country singer's finalist nabbing the top prize, Team Blake's latest accomplishment served as the fifth win for Shelton.

Avid viewers of the NBC singing competition can also look forward to seeing Shelton alongside his girlfriend Gwen Stefani in the upcoming new season of "The Voice." The "Used to Love You" crooner is already confirmed to join the country singer, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys as a judge for Season 12.

Recently, NBC's Alternative and Reality Group President Paul Telegdy gushed over Stefani's return to "The Voice." In a statement, as obtained by E!News, Telegdy commented on the singer's "unique chemistry and energy" with other judges.
