The update for the video game has fixed an issue, which made player characters small in it. It gave problems to them for a while, which made them complain to the game developers right away because they had to make another character again.

Another issue about the instantaneous death loop that would happen to survival mode if players saved with one health and no hazard protection was fixed with the latest update. This time around, the character will still be on the verge of death when they load the game, but it will not get killed right away.

The steam controller got a fix for an issue where players could not warp in the video game. For all controllers, the up, down, left, right quick menu navigation keys were removed to allow left handed players to move while using the quick menu. For those who use the keyboard when playing it, the page up and page down keypads can now be used to navigate up and down in the quick menu.

There have been reports of duplicate planets recorded in the video game, but with the latest update, the bug has been fixed from the discoveries menu. The issue of the promo ships that would be spawned above the ground has also been fixed with this update. The issue of missing ruins underwater, which caused the missions to point to nothing, was also fixed.

According to the official website of "No Man's Sky," the update has added several audio tweaks and fixes for the video game. It has added the ladder climbing sounds, sound effects for calling Freighters, sound effect when using communication stations, and changed the sound effect using the Terminus Teleporter.
