"I think everyone's fair game," Peter Nowalk told TV Guide. "There's a lot of people to be accounted for and that's sort of the fun of the back half of the season for me, scratch off suspects as we go."

Connor's name surfaced as one of the important suspects in Wes' death. For one, he never liked Wes. Second, Connor threatened to kill Wes in the previous episodes of "How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3.

Whether Connor killed Wes or not is something that viewers would see in the beginning of episode 10. Wes was murdered one night prior to the house fire, and Nowalk revealed in an interview with Variety that all the details would surface, including the identity of the killer and what happened to Wes.

Nowalk warned that the next episodes in "How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3 will see the all the characters facing an emotional struggle after Wes' death. Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) will be in jail for an indefinite time as she faces the biggest problems of her life.

With Laurel Castillo's (Karla Souza) pregnancy, many are guessing on who could be the father of her child. Anyone between Wes and Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) could be the father of Laurel's baby.

Wes had a special relationship with Laurel before his tragic demise. Frank could also be the child's father because he spent the night at Laurel's apartment, which could have led to their reconnection. Nowalk promised that this would be answered in the beginning of the new episode in "How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3.

There are rumors that Laurel's baby may not make it after Wes' death. The tragic news could have also led to Laurel's trauma that may have impacted the baby's health. The bleak future of Laurel will be revealed when the new episode unfolds on Jan. 19, 2017.
