“Descendants of the Sun” actress Song Hye Kyo posted on Instagram a photo of a Christmas tree. There was no caption on the photo which got more than 330,000 views and elicited more than 2,000 comments.
However, similar to an October comment on the photo apparently made by Song Joong-ki which indicated a secret relationship between the two celebrities, a comment from a fan on Instagram hinted they have broken up. The two “Descendants of the Sun” stars actually never admitted being in a relationship.
Elsieyangyo’s first comment reads: “After break-up, we cannot be enemy, cos we had been in love. After break-up, we cannot be friends, cos I had hurt you. Now we're becoming the very strangers who know each other so much.” She then added, “You will meet a better man, I sure.”
Was Elsieyangyo referring to Song Joong-ki? A similar, but not so direct comment by Emily_Fox has similar emphatic sentiments toward the 35-year-old actress when she wrote: “may you always bring our love with you wherever you go and whatever you do. As your fans through the years, we cried with you, smiled for you, cheered for you, prayed for you and dreamt with you. Our simple joy would be to see you happy amd contented with what God has in store for you. Saranghamnida, unnie!”
Lovekyo4912 was more direct with the comment: “anyone can’t replace kyo.” Youburnnnnwithus hoped for the actress to meet her soulmate.
The comments did not directly confirm a relationship with Song Joong-ki, but it indicated that some fans of the SongSong couple may be more privy to their relationship than others.
Inquistr likewise noted that similar to their “Descendants of the Sun” characters, Song Joong-ki’s relationship with Song Hye Kyo is going through some difficult time. The website wrote that the power couple has broken up due to their difference, but just like Army Captain Yoo Si-jin and Dr. Kang Mo-yeon, despite their rough patch, would realize “they are meant for each other and reunite.”
