Park was greeted by 4,000 fans in Hong Kong, which is the second leg of his Asian tour. At the event, the "Love in the Moonlight" actor sang a Christmas Carol to fans and even shared photos of his visit to Victoria Park, one of Hong Kong's most popular tourist destinations. After Hong Kong, he will visit Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Tokyo and Singapore. He will return to Seoul next year.

The 23-year-old star expressed his gratitude to fans for supporting him. He also acknowledged that he gained more recognition this year and that his fan base has become more diverse, allkpop reported. He also talked about the prospects of him making an official debut abroad.

"I still lack in many aspects, but I want to learn different languages [so I can talk directly with fans]," Park said at the event, adding that he wants to have more opportunities to meet fans. "Furthermore, I wish that I can act in Hollywood someday. For that to happen, I will really work hard and put in my blood, sweat and tears."

Meanwhile, Park was recently linked to Red Velvet member Irene. Both were co-emcees on "Music Bank" where they showed great chemistry. Because of their seemingly natural closeness, fans could not help but speculate that Park and Irene may be dating.

The "Russian Roulette" singer, however, clarified that he was never in a relationship with Park. As a matter of fact, she was surprised to learn that Park Bo Gum and Irene dating rumors were going around.

Irene described Park as a gentleman with good manners. "When there were stairs, he would take my hand and help me down," the singer shared.
