Kurt Angle is considered by many as one of the greatest wrestlers ever and it is only a matter of time before he goes back to the WWE. In a recent interview, Angle revealed that he wants to wrestle Seth Rollins once he makes his return to the WWE.

"I wanted to wrestle Daniel Bryan, but unfortunately I don't think he's able to go anymore. But I'd say, right now, on that roster, Seth Rollins is the guy. I watch how he is, what he does, his style, his ability in the ring. Right now he's one of the best in the world," Angle told Title Match Wrestling.

The 48-year-old legend still works as a part-timer in the independent circuit. He faced WWE veterans like Rey Mysterio and Cody Rhodes, and independent wrestling stars such as Zack Sabre Jr. and Joe Coffey.

Angle also named other WWE superstars he wants to face when he returns like Rusev, Cesaro, Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns. The match with Rusev is the one that has a lot of potential, especially when the Olympic hero returns to the WWE.

The Bulgarian Brute, who is an anti-American character, is the perfect opponent for the only Olympic gold medalist in WWE history. Hearing that patriotic theme of Angle will surely pump up the crowd wherever he makes his return.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), 2K Sports is considering Angle as the next pre-order bonus for the WWE 2K18 video game. Previous pre-order bonus characters include Bill Goldberg, The Ultimate Warrior and Sting.

All three superstars had issues with the WWE but they all ended up signing with the company. Goldberg and Warrior came back after years of animosity towards the WWE and Vince McMahon. On the other hand, Sting finally made his WWE debut last year which was a decade too late but it was still worth it.

As for Angle, he left the WWE in 2006 because of several injuries. He went on to sign with TNA Wrestling and wrestled for them until earlier this year. The main concern for the WWE in re-signing Angle is not his association with TNA but his past drug and alcohol abuse.

Nevertheless, it is only a matter of time before Angle makes his return to the WWE. It will be a night to remember as one of the greatest WWE superstars and wrestlers of all time finally returns to the place where he belongs.
