New details and spoilers for "The Flash" season 3 will feature Zoom's return as Black Flash, Wally West having a new costume and more information on Savitar's prophecies.
It seems that executive producer Aaron Helbing gave a small clue on what is going to happen during the second haft of "The Flash" season 3 when it returns next year and it will be related to Savitar's prophecies for Team Flash.
With the prophecies and seeing the future death of Iris West (Candice Peyton) in the future, Helbing told TV Line (via Heroic Hollywood) that Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) will do absolutely do whatever it takes to prevent "that" future from happening and assure viewers and DC fans that it will unlikely happen since the future is malleable, anything can happen.
Previous reports teased that Savitar's prophecies will likely focus on the West Family as it is hinted that Wally West/Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) could be the one to betray Barry and Team Flash, Iris will die at the hands of Savitar just like in the future and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) will suffer a fate worse than death seeing as what has happened to his children.
In other news, "Masters of Sex" star Teddy Sear's teased the possibility of returning to "The Flash" season 3 as TV series version of the Black Flash.
Sears expressed his desire to return to the show, however, it will likely depend on his schedule for next year as he is one of the main cast of "24: Legacy" TV series which will premier on February 2017 on Fox. Sears that Fox will give him the "thumbs up" in his request to go back to Vancouver and shoot an episode of "The Flash" during its third season.
Black Flash will be the grim reaper of the speedsters in Speed Force similar to the DC comics and it happens to be Hunter Zolomon/Zoom from Earth-2. Zoom became the Black Flash after his defeat at the hands of The Flash during the season 2 finale. He was abducted by the time wraiths disfiguring into a monstrous appearance similar to the Black Flash in the comics.
Lastly, cast member Keiynan Lonsdale teased a new costume for Wally West/Kid Flash in season 3 as he tweeted photos of him getting a head to shoulder bust.
While the details on how the new Kid Flash costume will look like have not been disclose, it speculated that Wally West might destroy his suit within five or so episodes, it is possible that Keiynan’s fitting could be for a new mask in the a future timeline.
It might be a version Kid Flash’s suit in the comics were he had exposed hair, a silver and red chest plate, with black and red pants similar to his future self in the New 52 comics, iDigital Times reported.
Grant Gustin recently tweeted a photo from artist BossLogic which feature The Flash having an impressive edited look, to which Gustin made a caption saying the it would be the perfect time for Barry to have a new costume.
While the chances of having a new costume in the second haft of "The Flash" season 3 are rather bleak at the moment, the showrunners will likely have plans for Barry to have a new suit possibly having a brighter hue of red in next season of the DC show.
The Flash returns on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017 at 8pm on The CW.
