"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 also featured how the two characters explored another level of their relationship by moving in together. It may have started as an experiment but Amy and Sheldon appear to be adjusting to their new life really well.

However, fans may soon see Amy and Sheldon's relationship grow into a potential engagement. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Molaro teased how they are slowing moving the two characters' relationship to a deeper level.

It appears that the CBS show's writing team have always had Amy and Sheldon's engagement as part of their storyline plans for the two characters. At this point, it is still unclear whether the couple's planned engagement will happen in upcoming episodes.

The showrunner shared that they are still having fun exploring the different plot lines and scenarios from Amy and Sheldon's cohabitation agreement. He explained, "Right now, there is such a new world of living together and what that means, and working that out ... so I don't think we're in a rush for an engagement."

Despite the lack of a definite timeline on when the said couple's relationship will become more serious, Molaro hinted that there is a possibility that Sheldon may suddenly propose to Amy. He even shared his excitement over the said scenario although he admitted that he has no idea when it will happen in the CBS comedy series.

Meanwhile, Molaro commented on how the couple have adjusted to their new living arrangements despite Sheldon's various quirks. In an interview with TVLine, the showrunner highlighted how the two characters have already started turning Penny's apartment into their own place with Sheldon moving many of his valuable belongings to his new home.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will air its episode 12 on Jan. 5, 2017 on CBS. Watch a clip from the show's episode 11 below:
