"Overwatch's" Roadhog will soon get a nerf from Blizzard. The fans gave praise to the game company for finally making some adjustments to the character.

Geoff Goodman wrote on the official forums of Blizzard that Roadhog will get a nerf soon, specifically his Hook ability. This will be done in the Public Test Realm to test it out first and adjust the stats if necessary. This will make the character a bit weaker, but the game company is planning to check his performance once the players try him out.

Many players were complaining about Roadhog's stats in the past. They were particularly complaining about his Hook ability, which overpowered other players when someone used the character.

To be more specific, the hook victim will now move into the position directly in front of Roadhog, rather than just a straight line towards him. There is now a limit on how far the character can pull the victim, which means players will not be able to hook someone that easily and kill them by dumping them off a cliff. Goodman said that these adjustments and with the other bug fixes will make the Hook ability feel more consistent this time around.

The second change to Roadhog involves the Hook ability's line-of-sight. This time around, the line-of-sight check is now implemented from the character's position, instead of the hook's position. This will make it balanced, which will make him only connect to characters that he can only see.

The last change done to Roadhog is still about the Hook's line-of-sight feature, which is a persistent line-of-sight check back to the character once the hook has landed. If the check fails, this will make the hook break and come back to him. So for those who get caught from the Hook ability, if they can get out of sight right away, they can get away.

On another post on the official forums of Blizzard, fans of "Overwtch" have given praise to them for the nerf. One member said that it was about time that Roadhog's ability was adjusted so that it would be fair for everyone else. Some wanted more changes to the character specifically to make it fairer.
