Rappers get into fights with one another on a regular basis, usually because they crack jokes about one another on their respective songs. However, there are times when things are taken too far and the altercations get physical. Such was the case for rapper Soulja Boy and R&B superstar Chris Brown.

Soulja Boy called out Brown for allegedly first calling him out for liking a photo of Brown's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran on the social networking platform Instagram. Soulja Boy then aired his frustrations against Brown and threatened to knock him out as well. Soulja Boy also brought up the 2009 assault charges pressed against Brown for his assault on then girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown then came back with a few words of his own, with Brown challenging Soulja Boy to step into a boxing ring with him and fight him for three rounds. Now it seems that this beef has hit a new high with ex-professional boxers wanting to get in on it. Retired boxer Floyd "Money" Mayweather wants to train Soulja Boy for his upcoming bout, according to Billboard.

Mayweather Promotions are also the ones who are in charge of endorsing and promoting the matchup, which they revealed by releasing a poster for the fight. Soulja Boy then thanked Mayweather, and revealed that the fight will take place in March 2017 and that he will receive a $1 million paycheck for the fight.

To further add fuel to the fire, one of Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend Nia Guzman, shared her two cents as well in a now-deleted Instagram post. Guzman, who is no less than the mother of his two-year old daughter Royalty, posted a photo of herself and Royalty in which Mayweather and his crew "The Money Team" are tagged.

To many this signaled her allegiance to Soulja Boy and Mayweather's camp, which she then denied after she deleted the controversial post. Mayweather was just simply "investing in Royalty's future," Guzman told TMZ in an exclusive interview.
