PlatinumGames was very disappointed about the cancellation of "Scalebound" in an official statement. Xbox division head Phil Spencer has recently apologized for the video game's cancellation.

President and CEO Kenichi Sato wrote on the game developer's official blog that they are sorry to announce that it has been cancelled by Microsoft Studios on Jan. 9. The development team expressed their disappointed that things have ended up this way, and they knew that a lot of their fans were looking forward to this game as much as they were.

To make up for this disappointing event for this year, the game company promises to continue delivering high-quality games to the fans. They will start with their upcoming video game exclusive to PlayStation 4 in March, which is "NieR: Automata." They are also planning to make more progress on other products that they are currently developing like "GRANBLUE FANTASY Project Re: Link," and "LOST ORDER" in the future.

Sato promised that they will keep working hard to meet the fans' expectations. They are looking forward to their continued support for their video games.

Microsoft Studios announced the cancellation of the video game on its official website. A spokesperson for the studio revealed that they have made a difficult decision for this announcement since it will affect a lot of their fans and those who were looking forward to the game.

The studio announced the sad decision after careful deliberation with their team members, and he specifically said that it was a decision not made lightly. They will remain committed to making Xbox and Windows 10 the best places to play games with. They are also looking forward to bring the other games they are currently working with like "State of Decay 2," and "Sea of Thieves."

Spencer tweeted an apology for the cancellation of "Scalebound," and expressed that he was hurt by the decision. He also said that the game company still wants everything they start to turn out great, to take risks, and to create diversity. He promised that the focus on building a great first party lineup will not change and they will continue to deliver high quality games in the future.
