It is official. Kim Tae-Hee, 36, has joined the ranks of married celebrities as she wed her long-time boyfriend, Jung Ji-Hoon aka Rain.

After five years of dating, Kim and Rain finally tied the knot at Gahoe-Dong Catholic Church on Jan. 19, Thursday, The Kpop Herald reported. Instead of a traditional wedding gown, the bride opted for a simple knee-length dress with a bridal veil, while the groom sported a black suit.

Kim and Rain's union was celebrated in a low-key manner with the couple going so far as to letting their guest know the exact time and venue three hours before the actual wedding. Though a large number of journalists and fans swarmed the venue, the strict security prevented anyone from entering the premises uninvited. Thus, allowing the ceremony to be carried out in a private and intimate manner.

The wedding was attended only by their family members, close friends, and heads of their management agencies, including Ahn Sung Ki, J. Y. Park, Yoon Kye Sang, PSY, Joon Park and Honey Lee. During the ceremony, J.Y. Park sang "You're The One," a proposal song that he composed for his wife.

While the newlywed celebrity couple has no immediate plans for a honeymoon or parenthood, Kim and Rain will live in the latter's residence. Following the wedding ceremony, the "Yong-Pal" actress has expressed gratitude toward her fans for all the good wishes they received.

"Today, the first day of our long journey together, we'd like to make the first stride amid blessings from all our fans who have loved and cherished us," Kim said in a handwritten letter released to Yonhap News Agency. "We'll live well, respecting each other and filling each other's shortcomings."

Kim then asked the support and understanding of her fans, assuring them that she will continue to work hard in whatever endeavor she undertakes in the future. She reiterated, "I will repay you for the warmth and the moving moments you have shown me through your overflowing love as a wife and a more mature actress."
