Marvel recently announced an "Inhumans" TV series that spins off from "Agents of SHIELD" but there is no casting yet. While the protagonists will certainly be the Royal family, the villains have not been revealed yet.
The new show may also follow SHIELD's seasonly change for the antagonists. While the earlier seasons of SHIELD tackled Hydra and its many heads, there are also other villains involve such as the parasite that killed Wil and a rogue Asgardian just to name a few.
One huge villain in the comics and possibly for the "Inhumans" TV series is The Unspoken who is the king before Black Bolt from the Royal family, Bleeding Cool reported. Starting out as a just ruler of Attilan, the Unspoken was overthrown by the young Black Bolt and the Royal family after the king concealed the Slave Engine in Tibet.
The Unspoken became a villain after he recovered and wanted to enslave Earth by unleashing a massive Xerogenesis using Xerogencrystals. It makes sense for Marvel to go that path considering that "Agents of SHIELD" already introduced the terrigenesis with Terrigen crystals.
Another possible villain for the show is Maximus, Black Bolt's own brother. It would most likely end up similar to the Thor and Loki dynamic. The Kree can also be make a re-appearance considering that they wanted to rid the world of the meta-humans.
"Inhumans" TV series director Roel Reine has already started testing IMAX cameras for the first two episodes of the show, Comic Book has learned. The first two episodes will be shown in IMAX theaters. ABC will be showing the rest of the episodes in their Fall schedule. Hopefully, it does not share the same fate as Marvel's "Agent Carter" which ended abruptly because of low ratings.
Marvel's "Inhumans" TV series filming will start in February as the casting and other pre-production tasks are still ongoing. It may get a boost from the "Agents of SHIELD" episodes leading up to the release.
