Although Netflix has been discreet in releasing details about the second run, viewers are slowly gaining more information about the happenings when the beloved hit series returns. Earlier, the air date of Season 2 has been confirmed on Oct. 31.

In December 2016, Sarah Hindsgaul, the lead hairstylist of "Stranger Things" Season 2, gave hints on how she would style the hair of the cast members for the 1984 era. She admitted that it was a challenge in the beginning, but now the cast members are now more willing to undergo hair changes as their characters evolved.

"Last year was '83 and this year is '84, and they're still in Hawkins, Indiana," Hindsgaul told Refinery29. "People are starting to realize there are perms and mullets, so we're using a lot of wigs this year, because no one wants perms and mullets."

"Stranger Things" Season 2 will pick up normally in Hawkins, Indiana. However, more secrets and thrilling events could still threaten the people in Hawkins.

Whatever happened to Eleven at the end of Season 1 when she fought with the demogorgon will be properly addressed in the new season. There are speculations that Terry Ives (Aimee Mullins) could be Eleven's mother. It was revealed in Season 1 that she went through an experiment during her pregnancy and that her child whom she called Jane was born with telepathic abilities, according to Romper.

The first episode of "Stranger Things" Season 2 titled "Lost Brother" teases that viewers would be introduced to more of Eleven's family members. Watch Super Bowl 2017 trailer of Season 2 below:
