"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, episode 13 will revolve around Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Alaric (Matt Davis) teaming up to take down a familiar face.

According to Spoilers Guide, Damon and Alaric will obtain a weapon that may finally be able to destroy one of their biggest nemesis, Kai Parker. According to TV Line, Kai was the one responsible for putting Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) under a sleeping spell.

Since Dobrev has already confirmed her return to the hit The CW series, it is also a must to see Kai's return to the show. By the looks of it, the Season 6 villain will finally get rid of the spell so Elena could return back to life. However, it is unclear whether or not Damon and Alaric will be successful with their deed.

Stefan (Paul Wesley) will also be held captive by a surprising acquaintance so he will be forced to confront a dark secret from his past. Elsewhere, Caroline (Candice Accola-King) and Matt (Zach Roerig) will try to keep Stefan's violent history from destroying him.

Meanwhile, Cade (Wole Parks) will set his sights on Bonnie (Kat Graham), and she will dig deeper into her mind. Previously, Bonnie struggled through a difficult time in her life when Enzo (Michael Malarkey) was suddenly killed off by her best friend, Damon.

While still mourning Enzo's death, Bonnie will have to face some other issues all on her own. She will also have a hard time figuring out who she could really trust among her so-called peers.

In other news, Malarkey previously confirmed that even though his character has already been killed off, Enzo will still return to Mystic Falls. The character will also be part of the huge finale that executive producer Julie Plec has planned for "The Vampire Diaries" fans.

During the same interview, Malarkey also opened up about Enzo and Bonnie's relationship and said that he is happy with his natural chemistry with Graham.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
