ABC medical drama "Grey's Anatomy Season 13" is full of ups and downs. In the last week episode, Miranda Bailey, Chief at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital suspended Meredith Grey because of her unacceptable behavior against the new chief of residency, Eliza Mimmick.
Being Chief of Surgery has never been an easy job for any of these, Dr. Richard Webber, Derek Shepherd and Owen Hunt. Everyone had to take tough decisions during their reign that were not easy, and the new chief Dr. Bailey is no exception. She is currently experiencing her share of problems in the new role.
Firstly she had to make a tough call on her husband, Dr. Warren who took the decision of delivering a baby in the lift lobby. Then the biggest challenge came when Dr. Alex Karev was convicted of a felony and then replacing her mentor and friend, Dr. Richard Webber from his current role as the Chief of residency.
As confirmed by TV Line, Miranda just received a slight relief when DeLuca dropped all the charges on Alex recently. But things don't stop here. Now, it's Meredith Grey who is on the line. The new chief has to take a tough decision and suspend Meredith as the head of general surgery because she did not allow the new head of residency Dr. Eliza to supervise in her OR.
According to Spoilers Guide, in Episode 13, Dr. April will be interim head of general surgery as Bailey Direct Meredith "Go home Dr. Grey, immediately!"
The situation is already tense as none of the doctors are ready to accept the new chief of residency. It involves not allowing her in the OR's, boycotting meetings and making changes on the medical board. In spite of all this, Miranda has to ensure that everybody does accept her with or without choice.
In the meanwhile, other stories continue to catch viewer's attention. For Owen and Amelia, things are still heating up between them and Stephanie is stuck in the middle. On the other hand, though Alex is free now his personal life is completely a mess as Jo walks out of the relationship with him.
