The WWE has been slowly incorporating Hulk Hogan and his name on their television shows more than a year after they erased him from their history. Here is the latest backstage news regarding the return of Hogan to the WWE.

According to Cageside Seats, the return of Hogan is inevitable since the WWE has started testing the waters by mentioning his name on television. They also put some of his images on the WWE Network and so far, the company has not received any backlash.

The WWE vanished and erased Hogan from their history on July 24, 2015 when his sex tape audio was leaked. The 63-year-old legend can be heard using the racial N word as he expressed his disgust of the idea of her daughter Brooke dating a black man.

Hogan apologized for his remarks but the WWE released him from his deal. The company also removed all references to him on their official website including his Hall of Fame bio. His merchandise from WWE Shop was also removed as the WWE did not want anything to do with their former superstar.

WWE executive and part-time superstar Triple H is very open to Hogan returning to WWE. However, he wants the Hall of Famer to evolve as a person first before negotiations can be done. Hogan was the top WWE superstar when the company was starting in the late 1980s and he is considered as one of the greatest ever.

"It's about reinvigorating his brand and him as a human being and the confidence within the world as to who he is," Triple H said in an interview with Greg and the Morning Buzz last year.

"At the end of the day for him, how he's perceived by the world, him as a human being, I'm sure is a lot more important to him than anything else. And re-establishing who he is as a human being I'm sure is of utmost important to him, and I'm sure he's gonna do it, and when he does, we'll go from there," he added.

Hogan is just waiting for the right time and place to make his return. WrestleMania 33 is a good place to do it but with the card looking stacked, there might be no time for him to get a speech going. However, one thing is for sure, fans will see "Hulkamania" run wild again in the WWE this year.
