"Scandal" Season 6 episode 5 will not be airing this week. The show is on a brief hiatus and resumes its run on March 9. "Scandal" Season 6 episode 5 features a major showdown between Olivia and Vanessa and a significant discovery in Francisco Vargas' murder case. The network has released a brief synopsis on its official website for "They All Bow Down" and it reveals that the upcoming segment will shed light on Jake and Olivia's association.

According to the press release for "Scandal" Season 6 episode 5, problems between Jake and Vanessa's relationship will take a toll on the campaign. Hence, Olivia tries to take things in control and springs into action.

Olivia tries to mend things between the couple, but it may be too late.

"My husband's wh*** is in my face right now!" Vanessa tells Olivia in the promo.

Meanwhile, the investigation of Francisco Vargas's assassination continues. Cyrus is still in jail and he must prove his innocence before it is too late. In the upcoming segment, a major revelation about the Vargas' murder conspiracy is made that will change everything.
