South Korean girl group TWICE of JYP Entertainment is back with the release of their recent single "Knock Knock." This follows the group's major success over the past two years with several hits.

"Knock Knock" was released on Feb. 9, Sunday, as part of TWICE's new EP, "Twicecoaster: Lane 2" which reissues the seven songs of 2016's "Twicecoaster: Lane 1," Billboard reported. The new EP comes with two new songs, "Knock Knock" and "Ice Cream," plus some remixes and instrumental versions of previous singles like "Cheer Up" and "TT."

"Knock Knock" comes with a taste of bubblegum pop style and beat of the 80s with rock elements and infectious melody. Its music video has the nine girls at a slumber party, anxious to see who knocks on the door. It happened to be their producer and JYP founder Park Jinyoung, whom the girls greeted with disappointment.

Another knocking on the door showed a delivery of a book which featured TWICE  in their fairy tale and Halloween outfits. The girls were engrossed with the book then realized it was snowing outside and ran into the ice to play.

TWICE was formed via a reality show and debuted in 2015 with "Like Ooh-Ahh" and has become one of the country's most popular acts with their singles and MVs. All of their three previous EPs landed on the World Albums chart with "Twicoaster: Lane 1" as their highest at No. 3.

The all-girl band will debut in Japan with a compilation album titled "#TWICE" with 10 hit tracks on June 28, Yonhap News reported. The songs include Japanese versions of "TT," "OOH-AHH" and "Cheer Up." Their "Twicecoaster: Lane 1" released in October 2016 topped Japan's Oricon foreign weekly chart in November 2016.

TWICE's upcoming debut in Japan debut has already been announced through the country's local television shows. There are also large photos of them hanging on the walls of Tokyo's shopping districts on Feb. 8.

TWICE's Japanese fans show their interest on their debut. Their official Japanese Twitter account gained 60,000 followers in just one day after its creation on Feb. 8.
