But the similarities ends there.

Nokia N1 is a 7.9 inch tablet that comes with an 2K display resolution of 2048x1536. The screen is protected with the latest Gorilla Glass 3 integrated with IPS panel technology.

It is powered by the 64-bit processor Intel's Atom Z3580 that is clocked at 2.3GHz, and has a PowerVR G6430 GPU as its graphic card.

According to Tech Times, the graphic card was the same card that iPhone 5S employs.

The tablet runs smoothly on Android 5.0 Lollipop skinned with Nokia's own Z launcher. A minimalist and dynamic launcher that Nokia developed. It also has a generous 2GB of ram.

What gives the tablet a buzz around now is the fact that it is one of the first devices to house the latest USB Type C connector.

CNET reported that the new USB technology will provide faster transfer speed, bi-directional power, and will notably trim down the usage of various wires for devices to work.

N1, also house 2 cameras. One 5-megapixel shooter for taking selfies, and an 8-megapixel shooter with autofocus and has the capabilities to record up to 1080p videos.

Nokia's latest tablet offering will sell in China for $250.
