The new "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" Ascendance DLC will be released to Xbox One and Xbox 360 gaming platforms on Mar. 31.

Game publisher Activision announced that Xbox One and Xbox 360 users will have the first dibs on the downloadable content for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare". Meanwhile, the DLC will arrive to other gaming platforms soon, although no specific date was announced, according to IGN.

The upcoming expansion pack will include the new Exo Grapple ability. This will help players to travel from vantage points quickly and serve as a secondary weapon, if needed.

According to GameInformer, the Ascendance DLC will also include new multiplayer maps: Perplex, Site 244, Climate, and Chop Shop. The OHM Werewolf is a weapon described as an OHM directed energy light machine gun/shotgun hybrid. Lastly, Exo Zombies will include John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan, and Jon Bernthal.

The "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" Ascendance DLC will cost $15. It can also be purchased thru the game's $50 expansion pass giving the players access to four DLCs of the game.

The first expansion pack of the game, dubbed as Havoc, was released on Jan. 26 and delivered new multiplayer maps, including Core, Urban, Sideshow, Drift. Moreover, players enjoy new high caliber weapons like AE4 directed energy assault rifle and AE4 Widowmaker.

The four DLCs are Havoc, Ascendance, Supremacy, and Reckoning will arrive throughout the year. The details about the forthcoming expansions are still undisclosed, but these will surely bring forth new maps, weapons, and zombies content.
