A familiar face will return in the next episode of "Supernatural" Season 10. Actress Felicia Day reprises the role of red-haired IT expert-turned-hunter Charlie Bradbury in "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 18 titled "Book of the Damned."
Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) mentioned in "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 17 titled "Inside Man" that Charlie has been radio silent ever since she left the Men of Letters bunker in "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 11 titled "There's No Place Like Home." Charlie Bradbury promised the Winchester hunters she will help find the cure for the Mark of Cain on Dean Winchester's (Jensen Ackles) arm.
According to an Examiner spoiler report, the CW Network released the promo photos for "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 18 on March 31, Tuesday, to tease the exciting events that will go down in the upcoming episode starting with Charlie's return. The images show Charlie, Sam and Dean holding the "Book of the Damned" while they talk about it.
One photo still shows Castiel (Misha Collins) holding up his fake FBI badge upside down. A promo video shared on YouTube also teases on the "Book of the Damned" that Charlie dug up.
In the promo video, Charlie calls Sam and Dean from a payphone to inform them about the book that she found. Charlie shows the "Book of the Damned" to Sam and Dean.
Charlie tells the Winchester hunters that the "Book of the Damned" is a spell book with the contents written in blood. However, Dean discovers the book does not have anything on the cure for the Mark of Cain.
"It comes with a price. It wants me to use it but not for good," Dean declares. Then, Dean calls the book a lie and tells Sam and Charlie they have to destroy it because it is calling to him.
The promo video also teased the intense fight scenes that will happen in the next episode of the CW TV series. "Gives me goosebumps," Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) declares in the promo video. Castiel (Misha Collins) punches Metatron in the face.
In the previous episode, Metatron also revealed that Castiel still has some angel grace left after he stole it from him in "Supernatural" Season 8. Metatron told Castiel he will take him to the location of his remaining grace.
The next episode will have Metatron and Castiel going on a road trip to get Castiel's remaining angel grace back. However, the duo will encounter a couple of bumps on the road before reaching their destination and fulfilling their mission.
"Supernatural" Season 10 is scheduled to return with episode 18 titled "Book of the Damned" on April 15, Wednesday night at 9 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
