Nina Dobrev recently confirmed the rumors about her leaving "The Vampire Diaries" after the sixth season and reports have surfaced that Ian Somerhalder's fiancée, Nikki Reed, is more than relieved to hear about the news.
Although a lot of fans feel devastated over the news that Dobrev is leaving, Reed feels the opposite because, according to Hollywood Life source, she can now visit the set of the show comfortably. Dobrev and Somerhalder are exes so it was awkward for Reed to visit the set and her fiancé when Dobrev was still around.
It was also reported that Somerhalder begged Dobrev to stay for one more season but there are no confirmations about this statement yet.
Meanwhile, E! News reported that the two are inseparable and could not get their hands off of each other as they were spotted packing on the PDA amid reports about Dobrev leaving the show. It sure looks like the two are festive as they gave each other a kiss while out shopping.
The two wore matching boho outfits as Reed wore a black jacket and a black hat while Somerhalder wore a fedora hat and a grey top. In an interview with Reed, she talked about how happy she is as of the moment but did not give further details as to when she and Somerhalder are planning to get married and points out that she is a very lucky lady.
She added during the red carpet of the Third Annual Catdance Film Festival event that Somerhalder is the most thoughtful human being although she did not explain why.
They are quite busy with their non-profit works as of the moment so they have a lot on their plate now. Reed and Somerhalder adopted two kittens and a horse and according to her, it might be a great practice as to having kids in the future.
