Chatting with TV Line, Caroline Dries assured that "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 finale and Dobrev's exit will be "Surprising. Satisfying. Intriguing. Hopeful. Sad." The EP refrained from revealing any plot details.
However, fans can expect to see the return of one of the main characters of the series. According to the report, Dries said that Jeremy Gilbert "certainly may" reappear in the show in the coming weeks.
