LG Electronics showed off a video teaser ahead the LG G4 press event in New York on Apr. 28 and it will reportedly boast a superb edge-to-edge screen display.

The video showcased LG's new Quantum Quad-HD display hinting that the new devices from the company, including its much awaited LG G4 smartphone. LG has always been making a buzz when it comes to its new technology. According to the video, the new display is 25 percent brighter and has 20 percent wider color range.

The video also briefly showed the screen of LG G4 dropping a clue that the smartphone will sport an edge-to-edge screen panel. However, International Business Times reported that the smartphone will have bezel, although they are very thin.

According to PC Mag, the smartphone reportedly packs features similar to LG G3. The specs include 5.5-inch screen display with 2,560x1,440 screen resolution, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 16 and 32GB flavors with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and a microSD slot of up to 128GB.

Contradicting reports claimed that the upcoming smartphone resembles the popular Google Nexus 5, which LG manufactured for the tech giant. This is intensified by the leak from credible tipster Evan Blass, popularly known as @evleaks, posted an alleged photo of the LG G4. The tweet reads, "Say hello to the LG G4: http://g4.xfb.kr/". The photo showed that LG G4 wants to take a bite on Nexus 5's popularity.

LG G4 is also purported to six variants with different leather back colors and great camera. All of the speculations will be put to rest on Apr. 28.
