ZTE Spro 2, the 2-in-1 projector running on the Android platform, is now available to consumers in the United States via AT&T. The projector will hit the stores on April 24.

The ZTE Spro 2 was first unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 held in January. The projector, which runs on the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system, has a built-in touchscreen display. It can also be used as a hotspot device as well as connect to a Wi-Fi network through its integrated wireless adapter.

The projector has HDMI output ports which enables it to be connected to a laptop or a personal computer. However, for cord-cutters, content over a laptop or personal computer can be streamed directly into the projector via Wi-Fi or an LTE network by means of the device's Android interface.

The ZTE Spro 2 has a brightness output of 200 lumens with integrated auto-focus and auto keystone technology. The device is capable of up to 120-inches of 720p HD output. It can support full 4G LTE and dual band Wi-Fi network while its hotspot capability can handle up to ten devices, according to Slash Gear.

The projector has a 16gigabyte of internal storage which can be expanded up to 64gigabyte through the built in micro SD slot. Due to its Android support, the projector is also capable of downloading apps and content on Google's Play Store. The ZTE Spro 2 measures 134mm x 131mm x 31mm and weighs 550 grams.

The projector has a price tag of $499 if purchased without contract and $400 is buyers opt-in for a two-year contract with AT&T, according to Android Police.
