As the DC Cinematic Universe is continuously expanding, a new promo image of Diana Prince has surfaced online to keep the fans excited.
A new promo art image was posted by Umberto Gonzalez, also known as El Mayimbe, on his Instagram account.
Wonder Woman still features the amazon princess in full costume. Wearing her bronze armor suit and tiara, Wonder Woman is also wearing a cape, which keeps her at par with Batman and Superman.
The superhero also shows her readiness for battle as she is holding a sword and her signature lasso is kept at her side. Wonder Woman also has her bracelets, which she uses to deflect bullets, extend to her elbows.
"Wonder Woman" is one of DC's upcoming films. It stars "Fast and Furious 7" star Gal Gadot, playing the titular hero.
As per Mstarz, Gadot's casting has been a controversial topic. According to fans, her body is not the ideal one to play "Wonder Woman."
It was also reported that Gadot has been working out to justify her character. However, how she will give life to the character will be more important than the physical appearance.
Gadot's character will also first appear in Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," along with Ben Affleck's Batman, Henry Cavill's Superman, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ezra Miller's Flash, and Ray Fisher's Cyborg.
The magnitude of the superhero's role in the said film is still vague at this point, as per Cinema Blend. Even The Flash and Cyborg are expected to have a minor role in the "Dawn of Justice."
"Thor 2" helmer Patty Jenkins is set to helm the film, taking the director's chair Michelle MacLaren left after dropping the upcoming film due to creative differences. Jason Fuchs is on board to pen the screenplay.
"Wonder Woman" is slated to premiere on June 23, 2017 while "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is to hit the theaters on Mar. 25, 2016.
