Buck declared the same during an interview that while drafting the script for the sequel, he and his team were aware that they need to come up with a equally impressive and dramatic climax as its prequel. "Frozen" was widely acclaimed for its never-seen-before ending, in which Anna saves Elsa through sisterly love.

Buck insisted that although their brainstorming paid off well and they have come up with a "terrific" ending of the movie, he and his team are still figuring out how to start the sequel so as to live up to the expectations set by the record breaking Disney project, Christian Today reported.

The main characters of "Frozen 2" will remain the same, namely,  Queen Elsa, her sister Princess Anna, the snowman Olaf, Kristoff and Sven. The plot of the movie is expected to be around an adventure undertaken by sisters followed by a fierce battle in which they will be seen fighting along side their friends.

Rumours are rife that Queen Elsa will find love in the sequel. VC Post claimed that fans are pushing Olaf to be the love interest of Queen Elsa. Prince Hans can also make a comeback  with a change of heart and might win over the queen.

"Frozen" tuned out to be the highest grossing animated feature of all time with a total earning of $1.27 billion in theatres and another $300 million through home releases.
