"We are thrilled to bring fans, both new and old, this latest film from series creator Akira Toriyama, 'Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F' is a visually stunning movie and offers even more action and comedy than 'Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods,' Fukunaga said in a statement obtained by Comic Book.

FUNimation EVP and COO Mike DuBoise also said that fans are in for another marvellous ride with "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" and for the anime theater-going experience, the bar has been raised.

Picking up where the 2014 film "Dragon Ball Z: Battle Of Gods" left off, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" features two remnants of Frieza's army named Sorbet and Tagoma successfully reviving Frieza as they were searching for the Dragon Balls.

Showcasing the return of villain Frieza, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" is the 20th film in the "Dragon Ball" franchise and the second film Toriyama personally supervised, according to Dragon Ball Z.

The resurrected Frieza will seek revenge on the Saiyans. It is then necessary for Goku and Vegeta to reach new levels of strength to protect Earth from Frieza with his newfound strength and his army of 1,000 soldiers.
