"Hart of Dixie" has already been cancelled by the CW, but until now, fans are still waiting for Rachel Bilson's official statement on the matter.
In May, there have been speculations that the cancellation of "Hart of Dixie" had something to do with Bilson and her co-star Jaime King's respective pregnancies, according to KPopstarz.
However, fans were not happy with this reason because they said that a lot of celebrities get pregnant while doing a series and most of their shows were not cancelled because of it.
Meanwhile, according to Day Herald, the series was not cancelled due to Bilson's pregnancy. Rather, it was cancelled because the actress did not sign up for the renewal of "Hart of Dixie" season 5.
Since the series revolved around the character of Dr. Hart (Bilson), it would be impossible to continue the story without its lead character. As of late, Bilson has not yet denied or confirmed such speculation.
Other speculations suggested that "Hart of Dixie" was cancelled due to its low ratings. However, the series became one of the best performing shows on Hulu.
In other news, Bilson has been spending much of her time with her baby girl with husband Hayden Christensen. The two have been living very private lives away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood. In fact, the happy family has only been photographed a few times by the paparazzi.
At one point, Christensen was photographed buying baby clothes for their daughter Briar Rose. Bilson, for her part, has been busy spending some me time at the gym and working out.
