"Jurassic World" lead actor Chris Pratt, 35, has recently commented on the rumor that he will be the lead actor in a possible "Indiana Jones" remake.

Previously known for his "Guardians of the Galaxy" role, Pratt appeared in "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to promote his most recent film "Jurassic World." When asked about playing Indiana Jones, he told the host Jimmy Kimmel that he had no idea and added that he missed a phone call from an unknown number.

After starring in James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy," Pratt became a global sensation. This was coupled by his lead role as Owen Grady in Colin Trevorrow's recently released "Jurassic World." The actor can be seen as a great Indiana Jones, according to Cinema Blend.

As per Deadline, Disney eyed the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor for an "Indiana Jones" remake in January. The box office success of Trevorrow's "Jurassic World" boosts the studio's interest in having Pratt as archaeologist Harrison Ford in its film remake.

In May, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy verified that she and her team are working on a remake of "Indiana Jones," but they still do not have a script. For Kennedy, a script is needed to make the film remake work.

For now, Pratt can be seen in Trevorrow's "Jurassic World," along with Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Judy Greer, Omar Sy, Brian Tee, Vincent D'Onofrio, and BD Wong, among others.

"Jurassic World" is still showing in theaters. Watch his interview below.
