The latest "Under the Dome" season 3 spoilers revealed that fans will finally have the answers to the most pressing questions, such as who or what was behind the dome. It was also said that one of the main characters will die in the first episode.
In an interview with Yahoo! TV, Mike Vogel (Barbie) hinted that the two-hour premiere had been "very shocking" even to the cast members. He shared that the coming episodes had a darker tone that will surprise the viewers. He added that they will also see a different side of Barbie as he tries to deal with his past demons. The premiere will pick up right where it left off in the finale.
Meanwhile, speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, "Under the Dome" executive producer Neal Barker shared that season 3 will be scarier and spooker than previous episodes. He also mentioned that fans will finally know why the dome came down and who (or what) was behind it.
Barker also shared that the theme for season 3 was "the enemy within." He added that the explosive finale will show the death of one of the major characters. He also mentioned that viewers should expect more deaths in the coming episodes as more villains will be introduced in the series.
One of the highly anticipated villains to join the cast is "CSI" alum Marg Helgenberger. She will play the role of the "very dangerous" Christina Price who vows to cause havoc all over town. It was said that Price plans to make the life of the male characters a living hell.
