Fans of "Empire" can no longer wait to see the upcoming second season of the hit Fox series. Here are some things fans want to see happen during the premiere episode.
According to iDigital Times, fans are looking forward to seeing at least five things in "Empire" season 2. First, fans want to see how the premiere episode can entice them to continue watching the upcoming installments.
In a previous interview with Deadline, executive producer Danny Strong said that season 2 will be just as good as season 1. According to him, he is putting so much pressure on himself to be able to create stories that will impact audiences before.
Fans are also looking forward to seeing Chris Rock on "Empire." The actor will be joining Terrence Howard's Lucious Lyon as an inmate. Just recently, a photo from the set of the made-up prison was released online.
Taraji P. Henson fans are also excited to see Cookie Lyon and her new love interest that will be introduced in season 2. Actor Adam Rodriguez will play the role of Laz Delgado or Cookie's new lover.
Meanwhile, fans are wondering how Empire will be run now that Lucious is in prison. As early as episode 1, there are speculations that Lucious will already be managing his Empire even while he is away.
Lastly, Alicia Keys fans should be delighted to know that the "If I Ain't Got You" singer will guest star on "Empire." However, as of late, her role has not yet been revealed.
"Empire" season 2 will premiere on Fox in the fall.
