When fans saw the gameplay trailer for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" at E3 2015, many marveled at how the gameplay footage looked a lot like concept art. The amount of details and destruction that the jeep chase scene had showed a different level of animation for a gameplay.

The artists at Naughty Dog had revealed some new information on the art for "Uncharted 4" at a recent Hollywood event, DualShockers reported. Aaron Limonick, concept artist at Naughty Dog, revealed that the tools that the studio uses is now more advanced that they the final gameplay footage looks like the concept art.

Combined with the PS4's system and technology, the "Uncharted 4" team now also have another means to make things more realistic with texture layering. These texture layers include dirt, grass and other environmental aspects for a more realistic effect. This is all done in order to immerse the players in the world's dynamic environment.

While the "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is seeing some definite progress in terms of what fans can expect, the movie version of the game is not doing quite as well. For the third time, the movie adaptation is seeing another change in direction and director, GameSpot reported.

New reports on the progress of the movie suggest that previously attached director Seth Gordon, responsible for "Horrible Bosses," will no longer be directing the movie. There are various reasons and speculations for this, including the need for a lower budget and a new direction needed by the creatives.

The movie had been stalled because of director issues as early as 2009. There have been other names attached to the project, which would soon fall out afterwards. Until now, there are now final announcements on how the "Uncharted" movie will move forward.
