Whether the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 release date will be in July or in October, Samsung hopes to pick up its tablet line and gain profits. However, Samsung kept mum about the launch of the device.

Earlier this month, the upcoming Samsung tablet was reportedly spotted in FCC, which hinted its imminent release date. A stamp from Federal Communications Commission is a requirement for all consumer electronics before they can hit the US market.

Meanwhile, photos of the case for the 9.7 inch variant of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 surfaced online, which further supported the rumors that the device is indeed coming soon.

Some of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 rumored features are 8-inch Super AMOLED screen display with 1,536 x 2,048 pixel resolution. Under the hood, the device will reportedly pack an octa-core Exynos SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera and 2.1MP front-facing shooter.

The line will have two core variants - the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 and the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 pertaining to the screen sizes of the tablets. The two models will further have two variants, namely Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi plus LTE.

Samsung has not revealed the official specs and features of the device yet, but Trusted Reviews reported that the tablets will sport a "premium" feel as the devices will be made out of high quality materials.
