Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date will reportedly happen in July 29 at the launch of Windows 10 operating system. If the rumor proved to be true, it will battle with Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.

While Microsoft and Samsung remained mum about the details of their respective devices, but rumors are flying left and right speculating on the specs and features of the two devices.

Below is the comparison of the rumored specs and features of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.

Screen Display

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is rumored to pack a 12-inch screen display with 2K pixel resolution. Other reports claimed that the laplet will arrive in variants or models sporting different screen sizes. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is reported to retain the screen sizes of the previous generation - 8.9 inches and 9.7 inches. Thus, Tab S2 is arriving in two models.

Processor

Microsoft's upcoming tablet is purported to be powered by Intel chipset. However, it is still unconfirmed whether the tablet will pack "Broadwell" or "Skylake" processor. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will pack an octa-core Exynos SoC under the hood.

Operating System

Microsoft reportedly delayed the release of Surface Pro 4 to wait for Windows 10 operating system, which will be on of its selling points. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will most likely run with Android Lollipop OS.

Storage

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will include 32GB of internal storage with microSD slot of up to 128GB. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will follow the storage variants of the Surface Pro 3.

Other Features

Both devices will sport their unique features. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will reportedly include detachable keyboard, stylus, Type Cover 3 and Docking Station. Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will have a more premium design, 8MP rear camera and 2.1MP front-facing shooter.

However, both companies have not confirmed the existence of the two devices.
