"Teen Wolf" Season 5 premiered with episode titled "Creatures of the Night" on Monday, June 29, 2015. As a special two-part premiere event, the show will air its second episode titled "Parasomnia" the following day, Tuesday, June 30. This segment will focus on the Beacon Hills' new arrival. Season 5 opened with celebration of the eve of senior year in high school. The Episode 1 saw the entry of new characters and villains into Beacon Hills. At the same time, Lydia had a vision of possible danger and the death of her friends.
In Episode 2 "Parasomnia," Lydia will be seen in action. According to the CarterMatt's description for the upcoming segment of "Teen Wolf" Season 5, Lydia will extend support to a classmate, who is experiencing nightmares.
According to Fashion and Style, this student is Theo. He also happens to be a friend of Scott. It is said that the one person who is not going to be happy with Theo's return is, Scott's human friend Stiles. The synopsis for Episode 2 suggests that Stiles doubts the intentions of a new student. Is it about Theo, again?
A promo video for "Teen Wolf" Season 5 (via SpoilerTV) teases the events of Episode 2 and confirms the pack's suspicion about Theo.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Jeff Davis said the "new villains are going to cause a lot of conflict" between Scott and Stiles. He even teased "the possibility of a breakup" of the two friends.
"One thing about this season as well, it's also a season of secrets. People keeping things from each other far too often, so we're going to see how secrets and these minor betrayals get in the way of friendships, but these bad guys will definitely play a part of it as well," Davis added.
