With Paul Feig's "Ghostbusters" film hitting the big screen next year, it has been reported that the five actors have been added to the list of the action sci-fi film's growing cast.

According to The Wrap, Andy Garcia, Michael Kenneth Williams, Matt Walsh, Pat Kiernan, and Cecily Strong are the newly added stars in Feig's film for Sony Pictures.

"City Island" actor Garcia is going to play the role of New York's Mayor in the upcoming film; however, exact information on his relationship to the Ghostbusters and how he will impact the integrity of the team remains unknown at the moment.

Aside from being a Mayor in "Ghostbusters," Garcia can be seen in films, such as "Hemingway & Fuentes," Mark Polish's "Headlock," Stewart Hendler's sci-fi film "Max Steel," and Dean Devlin's action sci-fi film "Geostorm."

"RoboCop" actor Williams is another addition to Feig's film and he will be playing the role of a character named Hawkins, with no other details revealed. He will also be seen in Jerry Jameson's crime thriller "Captive" and Hanibal Luna's action drama "179th Street."

Walsh joins Feig's "Ghostbusters" as Rourke. According to Cinema Blend, the actor is one of the funniest members of the HBO series "Veep," suggesting that he can be a great inclusion to Feig's upcoming movie. Known for his roles in "Ted" and "The Hangover," the actor will also be seen in Chris and Nick Riedell's adventure film "Bad Night" and in Greg McLean's horror thriller "6 Miranda Drive."

Kiernan has been also added to the growing ensemble of Feig's blockbusters. Known for his roles as news anchor in several films like Will Gluck's "Annie" and Drew Goddard's "Daredevil" TV series, the actor-writer will also play as a news reporter in the upcoming film.

"Saturday Night Live" actress Strong is also an inclusion in Feig's film; however, the director has to confirm her role yet. she will be also seen in Ben Falcone's comedy "Michelle Darnell," Don Argott and Sheena Joyce's romance comedy "Slow Learners," and Lorene Scafaria's comedy drama "The Meddler."

"Ghostbusters" stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon, and Chris Hemsworth.

Feig's "Ghostbusters" is slated to premiere in theaters on July 22, 2016.
