In "True Detective" season 2, Vaughn and Farrell's characters constantly make eye contact with each other across the booth in a gloomy bar, which Schumer finds "so weird." She said, "I'm still undecided on the show, but I'll probably watch the whole season."

The most recent episode of "True Detective" season 2 titled "Maybe Tomorrow" aired on July 5 and it will be followed by the episode titled "Down Will Come," which will air on July 12, Sunday.

Joining Farrell and Vaughn in the "True Detective" season 2 cast are Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson, Rachel McAdams, Taylor Kitsch, W. Earl Brown, Chris Kerson, Christopher James Baker, Kelly Reilly, Michael Irby, Alain Uy, Timothy V. Murphy, Adria Arjona and Lera Lynn, among others.

In another interview with Glide Magazine, Lynn said that "True Detective" is neither weird nor difficult to comprehend. She said, "This is what we've been working towards, so it's a welcome change."

Talking about the extension of her reach and presence after playing a singer in "True Detective," Lynn added that the progress feels natural to her although it is "undeniable that the reach has increased significantly in a short amount of time."
