With Rupert Wyatt's "Gambit" solo film hitting theaters next year, it has been reported that 20th Century Fox has made a casting call that has led to speculations on potential characters in the upcoming film.

The studio's casting call revealed 14 character name codes, along with their respective gender, ethnicity, age, and key qualities, which can be seen in Showbiz 411. With this knowledge, it is assumed that these characters will be pivotal, not only in Wyatt's "Gambit," but also in the future films in Marvel's Cinematic Universe.

Among the characters in the list, four stood out and are speculated to have villainous roles in the upcoming film, as per Cinema Blend.

Fritz is assumed to be a code name for the character Jean-Luc LeBeau, Gambit's foster father. Also known as the leader of the Thieves Guild, he decided to adopt young Remy LeBeau even after the latter tried to pick his pocket, which mirrors the "warm-hearted" word in the casting call.

Bella Donna Boudreaux is the character speculated behind the code name Vera. Boudreaux is Remy's childhood friend. The former is the granddaughter of the Assassin's Guild leader while the former is a member of the Thieves Guild. Their parents tried to have them married to unite the two factions, but it did not actualize because of his brother, Julien Boudreaux.

The name Nash in the casting call is anticipated to be Julien. As a potent threat, Julien challenges LeBeau to a duel, which gives an unfavorable result.

Louis is assumed to be Nathaniel Essex, also known as Mr. Sinister. As a scientist who is preoccupied with cloning, Mr. Sinister hired Gambit to snip special information from the Weapon X program.

Meanwhile, Channing Tatum is playing Gambit's role and the actor is currently preparing for his role as the Cajun mutant, which includes card throwing and the notable Cajun accent. With the others revealed in the said casting call, Tatum's allies and villains have yet to be figured out.

Wyatt's "Gambit" solo film is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on Oct. 7, 2016.
