"How I Met Your Mother" star Cobie Smulders recently opened up about what it is like being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and starring in films under the franchise.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, the actress said that it is actually very cool to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe because it has paved the way for her to have countless opportunities. Not only is Marvel releasing movies, the company is also known for their merchandise, video games, television shows and more.

Meanwhile, according to Cinema Blend, Smulders has already starred in three Marvel movies and was also part of the TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" on three episodes.

In other news, Smulders also shared her thoughts on the cancellation of Joss Whedon's "Wonder Woman." Just recently, Whedon said that he will be writing a script for the movie and he will be eyeing the actress for the role.

According to Smulders, she does not have anything negative to say about the cancellation of the project or if the title role will be given to someone else because he is good friends with Whedon.

When asked if she will make a cameo in "Captain America: Civil War," Smulders said that it would be a good idea. Unfortunately, she cannot talk about it. It is also unclear whether or not she will also star in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War."
