Seth Rollins returns this Thursday night just days after planting a knee on John Cena's face that broke the nose of the WWE United States Champion.
WWE SmackDown scheduled for Thursday, July 30, was pre-taped last Tuesday, meaning results of each match has already made its way online. The show, which was filmed from Tulsa, Oklahoma, will air on SyFy at 7pm.
Here's the results lowdown of the matches:
Seth Rollins opened the show with a promo. The fighter also commented on Monday night's gruesome injury, after Rollins sent a knew at Cena's face, breaking the Champ's nose.
Cesaro interrupted the Rollins which led to the night's first match, SB Nation Cage Side Seats noted. Cesaro defeated The Architect via DQ after Kevin Owens interfered during the match.
Owens, who was supposed to have his commentary, ended up teaming up with Rollins to defeat The Swiss Sensation. Seth, however, hinted at possible fight between him and Owens.
"Los Matadores and Lucha Dragons defeated New Day and The Ascension with The Prime Time Players on commentary," Cage Side Seats noted.
This was quickly followed by the night's main superstars. In a segment filmed backstage, Owens was told he will be teaming up to fight Cesaro. The latter was also said to have a mystery partner.
Summer Rae and Rusev entered the ring for a promo on what happened at Monday night Raw with Lana and the Fish, noted Wrestling Inc.
Rusev defeated Jack Swagger with The Accolade. After the match, Swagger dropped the Patriot Lock on Rusev.
Stardust beat R-Truth in a quick match. A promo on Neville followed which led to the wrestler entering the stage to attack Stardust, the latter took off, Cage Side Seats noted.
For the main event, Rollins and Owens faced Cesaro and his mystery partner, Dean Ambrose. Cesaro and Ambrose ended up winning the match with a pin on Owens.
