Windows 10 Has Been Released

The Windows 10 operating system has been already released on July 29. It is available as a free upgrade for existing devices that are running on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, PC World reported.

Microsoft is currently shipping the Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3 tablets with Windows 10 onboard. However, Windows 10 has several features such as facial recognition through Windows Hello feature that is not available on any of the released laptops. Hence, the Surface Pro 4 is expected to release this so that users can enjoy all the features of Windows 10.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Discounts

Microsoft is offering $150 discounts on select models of Surface Pro 3, Thurrott reported. The Surface Pro with Intel Core i5 processor, 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM is available for $1,149 on Microsoft Store.

The Intel Core i7 processor variant with 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM is listed with a price tag of $1,399. The Intel Core i7 model with 512 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM is listed for $1,799.

Rumors Indicate Surface Pro 4 Is Under Construction

Recent rumors indicate that the Redmond giant has placed orders for SSDs from Samsung for the Surface Pro 4. According to DigiTimes, the production of the hardware parts of the Surface Pro 4 will begin in September and it will finally release in October. Thurrott, the well-known expert Windows blogger and multiple sources have also reported that the Surface Pro 4 will be releasing in October 2015.
