According to TVLine, Ryan Kelley teased that the fans of the MTV series will get the answers they have been waiting for about Deputy Parrish before "Teen Wolf" Season 5A ends. Kelley also admitted in the TVLine interview that he knows what supernatural creature his character is and it is one of the creatures he expected Deputy Parrish to be.

Kelley shared in the interview his filming experience for the scenes where Deputy Parrish was naked while taking the dead supernatural bodies to the Nemeton. Kelley revealed that preparation takes almost an hour because he has to put on a flesh-colored Speedo while the makeup team put black stuff on him.

As for the make-out scene with co-star Holland Roden, Kelley described the filming experience "a hundred times worse" because they had to work on several shots from several angles. Kelley recounted that Lydia's makeup for that scene was "disgusting" because Holland Roden was covered in slime and blood.

When asked about the Deputy Parrish-Lydia relationship, Kelley responded that it is still indefinite if the relationship between two characters will become romantic. In the upcoming episode of "Teen Wolf" Season 5, Kelley teases Deputy Parrish is in an indeterminate state because of what he has been doing to the dead supernatural bodies which are the failed chimera experiments of the villains called the Dread Doctors.

There is a possibility that Deputy Parrish unwittingly works for the Dread Doctors. Kelley admits it would be interesting for his character to be the next villain in the MTV series as long as he lives because he does not want his character to get killed off.

In "Teen Wolf" Season 5, episode 8 titled "Ouroboros," Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden) found out that Deputy Parrish is responsible for the missing dead bodies. The Beacon Hills police department failed to protect the dead body of a female chimera found in Scott's (Tyler Posey) home.

The police arrested Kira (Arden Cho) because her sword was sticking out of the victim's body. The case was immediately dropped when the dead body disappeared in the morgue.

According to the next episode's synopsis on TVGuide, Stiles and Lydia will join forces in seeking the truth about the mysterious supernatural identity of Deputy Parrish. "Teen Wolf" Season 5 returns with episode 9 titled "Lies of Omission" on Monday night, Aug. 17, at 10/9c on MTV.
