Another fan favorite has been added to growing cast ensemble of John Lasseter and Josh Cooley's "Toy Story 4," "Marcel, Marcel" actress Kristen Schaal.

Schaal told Cinema Blend that her character Trixie, a blue plastic Triceratops, is going to return in Lasseter and Cooley's upcoming animated film. While she was told that she was going to be part of the forthcoming film, no further details had been mentioned. However, Schaal said that she was excited.

Meanwhile, director Lasserter told sources at the D23 Expo conference that the upcoming "Toy Story 4" will showcase a romantic story between Wooday and another doll, Bo Peep. According to The Independent, this story angle was indicated in the first "Toy Story" film, but scrapped for more adventures of the cowboy character.

Aside from Jason Micallef's adventure comedy short "Marcel, Marcel," Schaal was also part of Lee Unkrich's "Toy Story 3," and Pierre Collin's "Despicable Me 2." The actress is set to appear in Will Raee's comedy-drama film "Lost in Austin" and Ben Falcone's "Michelle Darnell."

With Schaal voicing her character in "Toy Story 4," "The Green Mile" actor Tom Hanks is also set to voice central character Woody.

Along with Lasseter and Cooley helming the film, Rashida Jones and Will McCormack are on board to pen the screenplay. Jones is known for James Bobin's "The Muppets," David Fincher's "The Social Network," and John Hamburg's "I love You, Man." Meanwhile, McCormack is known for Lee Toland Krieger's "Celeste & Jesse Forever," Les Mayfield's "American Outlaw," and Ben Queen's "A to Z."

Lasseter and Cooley's "Toy Story 4" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on June 16, 2017.
