The fans are anticipating the intense scenes in "Teen Wolf" Season 5, episode 10 titled "Status Asthmaticus." The mid-season finale promo video teases the problems that the True Alpha werewolf Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) will face like his disintegrating pack, the Dread Doctors and the threat to his life.
According to the summer finale episode's synopsis in TVGuide, Scott's pack will be confronting their biggest threat yet. Theo (Cody Christian) finally reveals to Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) in the mid-season finale promo video what he really wants.
"I'm here for a pack. Unfortunately, it doesn't include Scott," Theo declares in the promo video. There will be a Stiles-Theo confrontation again in the mid-season finale episode as teased in the promo video.
In the previous episode titled "Lies of Omission," best friends Stiles and Scott had an argument over Donovan's (Ashton Moio) death. The promo video teases that Stiles is still worried about his best friend despite their conflict after Theo confessed what his plan is against the True Alpha werewolf.
Theo will not be the only one who wants to harm Scott in the mid-season finale episode. Scott declares in the promo video that he cannot let Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) kill him.
Scott has upset Liam by rejecting his Beta werewolf's request in the ending scene of the previous episode ("Lies of Omission"). Liam wants Scott to turn Hayden (Victoria Moroles) into a werewolf so that she can survive the attack of the Dread Doctors but the True Alpha werewolf firmly said no.
In the promo video, Scott also declares that he is not sure if he still has a pack because the problems that the pack must deal with are causing them to break apart. Kira (Arden Cho) left the pack and Beacon Hills to find out what the Dread Doctors did to her, Liam is not happy with Scott's decision on Hayden's condition and Scott's conversation with Stiles about Donovan's death suggests that the True Alpha werewolf is kicking his best friend out of the pack.
"Teen Wolf" Season 5, episode 10 titled "Status Asthmaticus" is scheduled air on Monday night, Aug. 24, at 10/9c on MTV. According to Carter Matt, "Teen Wolf" is set to return with the second part of the fifth season in 2016.
