PS4 players can still enjoy one more day of playing the beta for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." Developer Treyarch and Activision have extended the beta period to Monday, Aug. 25, 10:00 p.m. PST.
According to the developer, this is in response to how fans have been calling for an extension of the beta period, MP1st reported. This is a great way to sample the game, especially for those who have been late in coming into the beta.
This is not the only new development for the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" beta period. Announced via Twitter, Treyarch stated that there is a one free perk coming to those who have played the beta.
"No code needed-PS4 owners who play the FREE open Black Ops 3 Beta get an upcoming PlayStation 4 Black Ops 3 Zombies theme," Treyarch announced via Twitter.
Snapshots of the theme can be seen in the link, however the release date was not yet confirmed. This may be the developer's way of giving thanks to fans who participated and gave feedback during the PS4 run of the beta.
For those who have yet to preorder a copy of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," Green Man gaming is currently offering the title at a discount, GameSpot reported. Now, fans can get "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" at only $45.
Of course, this goes without saying that the versions of these games are only meant for PC gaming. To avail of the discount, gamers only need to encode SLICKD-EALS25-OFFGMG when checking out purchases to get the 25 percent discount.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is not the only game to enjoy this discount. Other big-name games are also part of the promo, including "FIFA 16," "Star Wars Battlefront," "Fallout 4" and NBA 2K16." For those who do want to avail of this promo, the purchase need to be done before Aug. 28, before promo code expires
